A walk is usually 1 hour long with a minimum of 50 minutes. This does however depend on you dog and in certain cases the weather conditions. We will always put the best interests of your dog first.
How many dogs do you walk at once?
We will not walk more than six dogs at a time with a maximum of 4 dogs per walker. This ensures that we are in full control of your dog and can give them our full care and attention.
Are you police checked?
Yes. Russ holds a current enhanced Criminal Records Bureau certificate.
Are you insured?
Yes. We hold specialist insurance with Cliverton Insurance, the certificate will be shown on request.
What are home visits?
Initial Home Visit
Before walking your dog for the first time we will arrange a home visit to discuss your requirements. There is no obligation to book an appointment.
We will take some basic details regarding your dog and discuss your dog walking preferences.

Dog Walking
Dogs are walked for one hour in a group of no more than 6 dogs with a maximum of 4 dogs per walker. Dogs will be kept on the lead initially and until written off lead consent is given by the owner.
We will collect your dog from your house and walk them at a variety of locations in the local area. At the end of the walk we will return your dog who will be toweled down and will have their paws wiped. We will ensure that they have water and are comfortable before we leave them to dream about their walkies.
If you are a multi dog household please contact us to discuss rates.

A home visit is different from just a walk as we will also feed your dog and provide water along with lots of cuddles. This service is for dogs who are left alone during the day and not in place of pet sitting where the customer is away for long periods.
We also provide home visits for cats. Whilst you are away we will visit your cat/s, provide food and water and where necessary change litter trays. We will also spend time with your cats and give cuddles and strokes.
What do you do with my keys?
All keys are coded and kept in a storage box. We never put names or addresses on the keys and the codes are kept separately. If you leave a set of keys on file with Rumbles then we are only ever a phone call away should an emergency arise.
What do you do in the case of an emergency?
In the unlikely event of an emergency, we will immediately call and notify you. If veterinary assistance is required, we will take your dog to your nominated vet or to the nearest possible one depending on the circumstances.
